Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for the role of an Aftermarket Strip and Inspect Technician reporting to the Production Manager. The technician will evaluate and report on the condition of Dry Gas Seals returned for overhaul and repair, determining the scope of work required. All activities must comply with company quality, productivity, and HSE standards.
The role is based at our headquarters in Slough. Working Monday to Friday on shifts between 6am and 8pm, with overtime available.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect, evaluate, and report on Dry Gas Seals\’ condition following quality and HSE standards.
- Create Inspection Reports using MS Office and photo editing tools.
- Maintain databases and documentation via SAP and Visual Factory.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement activities like 5S audits.
- Train technicians and apprentices as needed.
- Participate in daily SPQCD meetings.
- Manage Storage Facilities.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications such as craft apprenticeship, BTEC Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or City & Guilds equivalent.
- Experience in a mechanical setting, understanding work instructions and technical drawings.
- Experience with mechanical seals, valves, turbomachinery, or compressors is preferred.
- Good IT skills and basic understanding of CI tools.
- Strong communication skills for internal and external customers.
- Customer awareness.
