We have a fantastic opportunity for the role of an Aftermarket Strip and Inspect Technician reporting to the Gas Seal Service and Repair Manager. As an Aftermarket Strip and Inspect Technician you will be evaluating and reporting on the condition of Dry Gas Seals that have been returned for overhauling and repair. All activities are carried out in accordance with the required company quality/productivity standards whilst ensuring the company HSE procedures are complied with.

Working Monday to Friday during normal office hours.

Inspect, evaluate and reporting on the condition of Dry Gas Seals in line with company quality/productivity standards whilst ensuring company HSE procedures are complied with.
Creation of Inspection Reports utilising MS Office packages and photo editing tools.
Maintenance of Data bases and documentation utilising SAP and visual factory applications.
Train technicians and apprentices when required.
Management of Storage Facilities
Ideally hold relevant qualifications (for example craft apprentice, BTEC Level 3, NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds equivalent)
Previous experience within a mechanical setting, understand work instructions and technical drawings
Ideally worked within either mechanical seals, mechanical valves, turbomachinery or compressors
