John Clark Motor Group is recruiting Multi Drop Car Carrier Delivery Drivers to join its newly established Transport department in Inverness, created in response to increased work volumes and national expansion. This is a key operational role representing one of Scotland’s best known motor groups, delivering and collecting vehicles across the country and acting as the face of the business on the road.
The role:
- Delivering and collecting a range of vehicles to and from customers, dealerships, and partner sites across Scotland.
- Driving a 7.2 tonne covered truck with sleeping pod, towing a 3.2 tonne single car trailer.
- Completing multi drop schedules efficiently while maintaining safety and presentation standards.
- Ensuring vehicles are clean, secure, and presented to a high standard on delivery.
- Carrying out driving licence and identification checks where required.
- Completing delivery paperwork, fuel receipts, and driver timesheets accurately.
- Reporting any vehicle, paperwork, or compliance issues promptly to the Transport team.
- Maintaining a professional appearance at all times, including wearing company uniform.
- Adhering strictly to road traffic legislation, health and safety requirements, and company procedures.
- Being available for two to four nights away per week, depending on workload.
What we are looking for:
- LGV Class 1 licence is essential.
- Experience driving a 7.2t covered truck and towing a single car trailer is required.
- No more than six points on your driving licence.
