The Role: Key Responsibilities
As a Dealership Accountant, you will oversee the entire financial operation of the site, serving as the financial backbone and strategic advisor to senior management.
- Financial Leadership: Advise the Head of Business and department managers on fiscal policies, financial performance, margins, and overheads.
- Reporting & Insights: Prepare regular, accurate financial accounts, KPIs, and daily/weekly/period reports to drive data-led business decisions.
- Cash & Asset Control: Oversee the dealership's cash flow, borrowings, and liquidity; manage creditors, debtors, and stock to ensure an optimum operating cycle.
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop the onsite accounts team, fostering a culture of high professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Compliance: Maintain strict internal control systems, physical/fiscal asset protection, and ensure absolute compliance with Data Protection and corporate governance.
