About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Technical Sales Manager to drive the growth of our automation solutions offering. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, automation, and commercial strategy, with the ambition to scale a growing automation division.

The organisation delivers comprehensive warehouse solutions, including mezzanine floors, storage systems and materials-handling equipment. With strong industry experience and established supplier partnerships, the company has supported a wide range of automation projects and is now expanding into medium-scale warehouse automation solutions, requiring a strong Technical Sales Manager to lead this automation growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and win new automation opportunities across multiple sectors.
  • Build strong client relationships and deliver value-focused automation solutions.
  • Apply technical knowledge of automation systems (hardware, software, PLCs, robotics, conveyors, shuttles and control systems) to support solution design and integration.
  • Translate technical automation concepts into clear commercial benefits for stakeholders.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver cohesive automation and integration solutions.
  • Support the continued growth of the automation division, including best practice development.
