We’re seeking a Shift Maintenance Technician to support a highly automated customer site for a globally recognised organisation. You’ll maintain and repair automated material handling equipment, ensuring strong system performance, KPI delivery, and excellent service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, repair, and service equipment on site
  • Ensure system performance meets KPI targets
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, PLC, and PC-related faults
  • Carry out planned maintenance and scheduled repairs
  • Prioritise faults to maintain product flow
  • Record maintenance activity and manage spare parts
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain Health & Safety compliance and professional customer relationships

What We’re Looking For:

  • NVQ / ONC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Experience with automated material handling/conveyor systems
  • Basic PLC and fault-finding knowledge
  • Good PC skills and understanding of PPM
  • Strong Health & Safety awareness (IOSH desirable)
  • Willingness to work at height and manage contractors if needed
