We’re seeking a Shift Maintenance Technician to support a highly automated customer site for a globally recognised organisation. You’ll maintain and repair automated material handling equipment, ensuring strong system performance, KPI delivery, and excellent service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, repair, and service equipment on site
- Ensure system performance meets KPI targets
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, PLC, and PC-related faults
- Carry out planned maintenance and scheduled repairs
- Prioritise faults to maintain product flow
- Record maintenance activity and manage spare parts
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain Health & Safety compliance and professional customer relationships
What We’re Looking For:
- NVQ / ONC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience with automated material handling/conveyor systems
- Basic PLC and fault-finding knowledge
- Good PC skills and understanding of PPM
- Strong Health & Safety awareness (IOSH desirable)
- Willingness to work at height and manage contractors if needed
