We’re recruiting for an Automation Design Engineer to join an established international business specialising in warehouse automation and intralogistics solutions. This is a great opportunity for an engineer with experience in automation, material handling or logistics systems to join a growing team and work on a range of customer-focused automation projects, from initial requirements through to detailed technical design. The Role: Developing automation solutions for intralogistics projects. Analysing customer requirements, data and logistics processes. Designing and calculating materials, capacities and productivity. Producing detailed technical drawings for material handling systems. Preparing high-detail technical quotations. Carrying out statistical and productivity calculations. Supporting the development of automated warehouse solutions. What We're Looking For: Degree or background in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline. 2–3 years’ experience in a similar engineering/design role. Strong knowledge of automation, material handling processes and technologies. Advanced AutoCAD skills. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience using probability and statistics tools, such as Python or R. Advanced knowledge of statistics. Experience with rendering and animation applications.
