John Charles Search is currently partnered with a well-established global software and warehouse optimisation business to recruit a Graduate Business Development Representative based out of their Bracknell office. This is an excellent opportunity for a bright, commercially minded graduate or junior sales professional looking to build a long-term career within the warehouse automation, intralogistics, and supply chain technology sector. The role offers exposure across both sales and marketing functions while supporting business development activity across the UK.

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify new business opportunities across UK markets
  • Utilise outbound prospecting and lead generation tools such as Apollo
  • Research target accounts and identify relevant decision-makers
  • Set up first-time appointments for senior sales leadership
  • Follow up inbound enquiries, trade show leads, and marketing campaigns
  • Support ongoing sales and marketing initiatives/events
  • Work closely with senior commercial leadership on customer engagement activity
  • Maintain CRM and prospecting activity records
  • Develop knowledge of warehouse automation, software, ecommerce, retail, and fulfilment sectors

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Graduate calibre or 1–3 years’ commercial experience
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Social media and technology-savvy
  • Highly organised and proactive
  • Commercially aware with a strong interest in sales/business development
  • Comfortable speaking with businesses and building relationships
  • Motivated by progression and career development
  • Experience in SDR, BDR, recruitment, marketing, retail, customer service, or outbound sales environments would be advantageous
