We’re recruiting for an Automation Design Engineer to join an established international business specialising in warehouse automation and intralogistics solutions.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer with experience in automation, material handling or logistics systems to join a growing team and work on a range of customer-focused automation projects, from initial requirements through to detailed technical design.
The Role:
- Developing automation solutions for intralogistics projects.
- Analysing customer requirements, data and logistics processes.
- Designing and calculating materials, capacities and productivity.
- Producing detailed technical drawings for material handling systems.
- Carrying out statistical and productivity calculations.
- Supporting the development of automated warehouse solutions.
What We're Looking For:
- Degree or background in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2–3 years’ experience in a similar engineering/design role.
- Strong knowledge of automation, material handling processes and technologies.
- Advanced AutoCAD skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience using probability and statistics tools, such as Python or R.
- Advanced knowledge of statistics.
- Experience with rendering and animation applications.
- Knowledge of industrial process simulation.
