A fast-growing and innovative industrial integrator specialising in Collaborative Robots (Cobots) is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to join their team. Your Role:
As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will be involved in the full project lifecycle, from design to commissioning. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing Cobot applications using CAD and virtual simulations
- Creating customised mechanical solutions based on project requirements
- Developing electrical designs, including component selection and circuit layouts
- Programming and integrating industrial devices such as PLCs, safety scanners, vision systems, and sensors
- Creating electrical schematics and implementing control circuits
- Programming Cobots and ensuring seamless hardware/software integration
- Overseeing manufacturing processes and supporting the build phase
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery
- Installing and commissioning Cobots at customer sites
- Providing ongoing support to maintain high customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Mechatronics, Controls Engineering, or a related field
- Basic CAD and simulation experience
- Familiarity with programming and electrical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Passion for innovation and a proactive approach
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required
- Experience with Robotics or Cobots (preferred)
- Knowledge of Java and/or Python (a plus)
