We are partnering with a leading UK distributor of Automation, Control, and Safety Products, looking for an Application Support Engineer to join their Technical Support team. Working with manufacturing companies, OEMs, and machine builders across the UK, they provide automation solutions backed by expert technical support and outstanding customer service.

The Role

As an Application Support Engineer, you'll provide technical and application support for a range of automation and control products, offering expert advice and helping to resolve customers' technical challenges.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing and resolving application issues.
  • Responding to customer enquiries.
  • Developing application solutions.
  • Supporting the sales team to deliver excellent customer service.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with automation, control, and safety products (preferably Mitsubishi Electric PLCs, inverter drives, and HMIs).
  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a remote working environment.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Living within commuting distance of Blackburn, Lancashire.
