What You’ll Be Doing:
- Running daily team catch‑ups to plan the day, review sales performance, and work through lead numbers, FF numbers, and problem‑pot cases.
- Weekly check‑ins with the Protection Sales Director to review team performance and escalade adviser concerns.
- Setting team sales targets and actively driving revenue growth across Protection, Wills, Wealth Referrals, and PMI.
- Conducting monthly 1‑2‑1s, performance improvement plans, and regular call listening with feedback.
- Managing interviews and onboarding for new team members.
- Monitoring NTU data to identify reinstatement opportunities and prevent recurrence.
- Managing 4‑year renewal campaign data to ensure clients are contacted within the renewal window.
- Handling complaints from referring advisors, admin, or clients.
- Building strong relationships with Operations, EST, Marketing, Compliance, and HR to improve business efficiency.
- Managing HR matters including probation, absence, disciplinary, and performance improvement policies.
- Producing regular management information and reports.

- Upholding FCA Consumer Duty by placing customer best interests at the heart of every decision.
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of proven advised protection sales experience in a regulated financial services environment.
- Attained Competent Adviser Status in a current or previous role.
- Demonstrable experience managing and coaching a sales team in a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of the FCA regulatory framework, Consumer Duty, and T&C requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – both written and verbal.
- Ability to interpret MI and translate insights into actionable team development priorities.
- Strong time management and accuracy under competing demands.
- Proven relationship‑building skills with internal introducers, lenders, and providers.
