school leaver trainee sheriff officer

We are seeking to recruit a Sheriff Officer\’s Assistant.

The position would ideally suit a young person / school leaver or smart and tidy appearance.

Hours are 9am – 5.30pm (with occasional overtime) and involves travelling each day with a male Sheriff Officer and witnessing his duties as an Officer of Court throughout Scotland. The candidate will require to complete legal paperwork and therefore a good standard of English and neat writing skills are essential.

The candidate will also require to be computer literate and be confident searching data bases, using emails and confident on the telephone.

General office tasks such as mail handling and filing will also be required.

Pay: £9,600.00-£9,609.00 per year

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
