Currently, JBT offers an excellent opportunity for an Assembly Fitter to join the Proseal team near Manchester. Proseal UK Ltd designs and manufactures high-quality tray sealing and conveying systems for the food industry, with manufacturing facilities in the UK, North America, and Australia. Established in 1998, Proseal has become the UK\’s leading manufacturer of tray sealing machinery and tooling and has a significant international presence, including facilities in the United States and Australia, and offices across Ireland, Holland, Spain, Canada, South America, and Dubai.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure assembly and build quality meet the highest standards.
- Ensure machinery is fully PDI’d and tested before delivery.
- Attend sites for machine commissioning and breakdowns.
- Maintain self-discipline, proactivity, and hard work.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Work effectively to meet deadlines and delivery schedules.
- Meet or exceed production instructions and quality standards.
- Escalate build anomalies to relevant personnel.
- Participate in on-site commissioning and customer training.
