Our Cambridge operation is recognised as one of the highest-performing Renault dealerships in the UK, consistently achieving outstanding sales performance, exceptional customer satisfaction and some of the highest enquiry volumes in the network.
The Role
This isn't a role where you'll be waiting for customers to walk through the door. You'll be working with a constant flow of showroom visitors, manufacturer enquiries, digital leads and repeat customers, ensuring every enquiry receives an exceptional customer experience from first contact through to vehicle handover and beyond. Working across the exciting Renault, Dacia and Alpine ranges, you'll deliver a modern, professional and consultative sales experience whilst promoting finance, service plans, accessories and value-added products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of showroom, telephone and digital enquiries.
- Arrange and conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
- Build strong customer relationships from enquiry through to delivery and aftersales.
- Deliver engaging vehicle presentations both in person and through personalised video walkarounds.
- Recommend suitable finance packages, accessories and value-added products in a compliant manner.
- Maintain accurate customer records using our CRM and dealership management systems.
- Proactively follow up enquiries, quotations, outstanding prospects and existing customers.
- Work closely with the Sales Manager and wider team to maximise every sales opportunity.
- Consistently achieve individual and team sales objectives while delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a motivated professional who enjoys working in a busy, target-driven environment and thrives on building lasting customer relationships. You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Sales Executive or Sales Specialist within a franchised automotive dealership.
- A proven record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- A confident, professional and customer-focused approach.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- The ability to manage multiple customer enquiries simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- A full UK driving licence.
Technology is at the heart of this role. We're looking for someone who is confident using modern digital sales tools and embraces technology as part of the customer journey. You should be:
- Highly IT literate and comfortable using CRM and dealership management systems.
- Experienced using smartphones, tablets and mobile devices throughout the sales process.
- Confident creating personalised video presentations and communicating with customers digitally.
- Able to manage online leads, appointments and follow-ups efficiently using multiple systems.
- Comfortable learning and adopting new technologies and manufacturer digital platforms as they evolve.
