Location: Ipswich, Renault
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday 8:30am–6:00pm, Saturday 9:00am–5:00pm (with one weekday off)
Salary: £24,000 Basic plus JBG Commission and Bonus Structure
Start Date: ASAP
Holiday: 22 days per annum plus bank holidays (rising to 26 days with service)
Contract Type: Permanent

As we continue to expand, we are now looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Specialist to join our team in Ipswich, helping to drive new and used vehicle sales across both franchised and non-franchised stock.

About the Role

As a Sales Specialist, you’ll be responsible for guiding customers through the entire car-buying journey—from initial enquiry to final handover. You will be confident in presenting vehicles both face-to-face and virtually, understanding customer needs, and delivering tailored solutions. You will be responsible for new car sales Renault and Dacia Retail, local fleet/LCV as well as used cars.

You will work closely with the wider sales team and management to meet and exceed sales targets, all while maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with customers in the showroom. on the phone, and online

• Understand customer needs to recommend suitable new or used vehicles - full training given

• Present, demonstrate, and communicate vehicle features confidently in person and via digital channels (phone, video, chat, text, and email)

• Negotiate and close sales, ensuring all paperwork and processes are completed accurately

• Maintain ongoing relationships with customers through follow-up and aftersales support

• Stay informed on product updates, finance options, and current promotional offers

• Collaborate with the team to achieve dealership targets and contribute to a positive working environment

Ideal Candidate

• Sales or customer service experience in a retail setting

• Passion for providing excellent customer service

• Confident communicator across all platforms—face-to-face, email, chat, and phone

• Strong negotiation, organisational, and time management skills

• Able to build rapport with a wide range of customers

• IT literate and confident learning dealership systems

• Full UK driving licence required

• Local to Ipswich or able to reliably commute
