Sales Specialist to join our busy Honda dealership in Ipswich.

The Role
As a Sales Specialist, you will guide customers through every stage of the vehicle purchasing journey, from their first enquiry through to vehicle handover and ongoing ownership.
Working within a busy dealership, you'll build lasting customer relationships, identify individual requirements and provide expert advice on our range of new and approved used Honda vehicles, finance products and aftersales services.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell new and approved used Honda vehicles whilst delivering exceptional customer service.
- Build long-term relationships that generate repeat business and customer referrals.
- Manage digital, telephone and showroom enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Proactively develop your own customer database through daily prospecting, follow-up calls and appointment setting.
- Demonstrate and present vehicles confidently both in the showroom and during test drives.
- Promote finance, insurance, accessories, service plans and additional value-added products in a compliant manner.
- Deliver exceptional vehicle handovers, ensuring every customer fully understands their new vehicle.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and follow all FCA, manufacturer and company compliance procedures.
- Work closely with colleagues across Sales, Finance and Aftersales to ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Encourage positive online reviews whilst maintaining excellent Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) performance.
- Consistently achieve agreed monthly sales, profitability and customer satisfaction targets.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated and enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Ideally you will have
- Previous franchised dealership automotive sales experience (preferred).
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Confidence using CRM systems, digital sales platforms and Microsoft Office.
- A professional appearance with a positive attitude.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Interest in hybrid and electric vehicle technology.
- A full UK driving licence.
