John Banks Group is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Technician, ideally with Honda Technician status or equivalent expertise, to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fully franchised workshop with access to the latest Honda technology, training, and career development.

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and vehicle health checks using Honda diagnostic tools and systems
  • Support and guide the workshop team with technical expertise and mentoring where needed
  • Conduct routine servicing, MOTs (if certified), air conditioning repairs, brake and tyre work, and warranty jobs
  • Complete all work to Honda manufacturer standards within specified timescales
  • Ensure accurate documentation of completed work using electronic video health checks
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, Service Advisors, and Honda Technical Support

What You’ll Need

  • Technician qualification – ideally Honda - accredited
  • Minimum Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Proven background in diagnostics and complex fault-finding
  • Proficiency with modern vehicle systems and diagnostic equipment
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional service and workmanship
  • Full, clean UK Driving Licence
  • MOT Tester qualification (preferred, not essential)
