The Role

As a Motorcycle Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing Honda motorcycles to the highest manufacturer standards.

From routine servicing and MOT preparation to advanced diagnostics and warranty repairs, you'll ensure every motorcycle leaves our workshop in first-class condition.

You'll also work closely with our Service Advisors and Parts Department to provide an exceptional ownership experience for every customer.

Your Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on Honda motorcycles.
• PDI and prepare the array of new bikes arriving daily from the manufacturer
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using Honda diagnostic equipment.
• Complete manufacturer servicing and scheduled maintenance.
• Undertake warranty repairs in accordance with Honda guidelines.
• Carry out pre-delivery inspections on new motorcycles.
• Prepare used motorcycles to Approved Used standards.
• Complete electronic vehicle health checks and workshop reports.
• Record all work accurately using our Dealer Management System.
• Ensure all repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to manufacturer standards.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping within the workshop.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maximise workshop efficiency.
• Keep up to date with Honda technical bulletins and training.
• Deliver excellent workmanship that contributes to outstanding customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their work and enjoys being part of a successful team.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Motorcycle Technician.
• Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• A full UK Motorcycle Licence (Category A).
• A full UK Driving Licence.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good organisational skills.
• The ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Pride in delivering outstanding workmanship every day.

Applicants must be aged 22 or over for insurance purposes.

Desirable Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Motorcycle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Honda manufacturer training.
• Previous franchised motorcycle dealership experience.
• MOT Tester qualification (Class 1 & 2 desirable).
• Hybrid or EV motorcycle experience (where applicable).
