SHOWROOM CLEANER
We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, outgoing, and motivated individual to join JBG as a showroom cleaner at our Cambridge sites. The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail and take pride in their work, taking full responsibility for all aspects of maintaining a showroom and facilities to be proud of.
Experience in cleaning to a high level would be advantageous and a knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace, as you will be working with cleaning materials and machinery. Full training will be given.
Hours - minimum of 5 hours work per day between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday - flexibility to be discussed at interview. More hours maybe available with prior agreement.
Responsibilities
General Cleaning and Maintenance:
Use high-quality cleaning equipment to maintain cleanliness in the showroom.
Use industry-approved chemicals for cleaning and polishing surfaces.
Clean, sanitise and polish floors, windows, and all surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
Empty bins and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
Display and Fixture Maintenance
Clean and polish display stands, counters, and any other fixtures in the showroom.
Arrange and maintain display materials, ensuring they are clean and neatly positioned.
Restroom and Common Area Upkeep:
Clean and sanitise toilets regularly, ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as customer waiting areas, employee communal areas and food prep facilities.
Quality Control
Conduct regular inspections to ensure the showroom meets cleanliness standards.
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the management team promptly.
Customer Interaction
Greet customers warmly while ensuring cleaning tasks do not disrupt their experience.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Inventory Management
Monitor and manage cleaning supplies inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels.
Adherence to Safety Protocols
Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and machinery.
Flexibility and Team Support
Assist other team members and demonstrate flexibility and a team-oriented attitude.
Adapt to changing priorities and schedules if required.
