About the Role
As a Service Wash & Preparation Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring every vehicle leaving our Aftersales department meets the high standards our customers expect. Working closely with the service and workshop teams, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles following service, maintaining site presentation, and supporting the smooth running of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and prepare service vehicles to a high professional standard
- Carry out post-service clean-downs ensuring vehicles are returned in excellent condition
- Assist with vehicle preparation across the service department
- Use valeting equipment and approved cleaning products safely and effectively
- Identify and report any vehicle damage or defects
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the service area and site
- Safely move and park vehicles on-site in line with procedures
- Follow all Health & Safety guidelines and company standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in vehicle valeting or service washing (preferred)
- A strong eye for detail and pride in delivering high-quality work
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK driving licence (held for a minimum of 2 years – essential)
- A reliable, hardworking, and team-focused attitude
- Good communication skills and a positive approach
