Responsibilities
  • Administration, configuration and implementation of databases in a demanding high‑availability environment (Oracle)
  • Planning and deployment of new databases
  • Automation of existing processes
  • Carrying out database migrations, patches and upgrades
  • Providing advice and support for projects
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of storage and archiving processes
Qualifications
  • A successfully completed degree in IT or an equivalent qualification
  • Extensive experience with Oracle RAC
  • Several years' experience in database administration, particularly with relational database systems
  • Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Ansible and scripting languages (Shell) is an advantage
  • Experience with Linux is desirable
  • Very good written and spoken English
