JOE & THE JUICE is a people‑centric food and beverage company built around culture, not just juice, sandwiches, coffee, and much more. When joining us, you step into a high‑energy community where the music is loud, the bar is your stage, and your personality matters as much as your skills.

We believe in four simple virtues that shape everything we do: Inclusion and Growth. For us, this means that when you choose a cup‑half‑full mindset, welcome people from every background, build real friendships across the bar by creating great guest experiences, and use every shift as a chance to learn something new — you become more than just a Juicer; like us, you continue to search and find purpose and meaning in what you do.

From your first day, you’ll be part of an international network of Juicers who support each other, celebrate wins together, and push each other to grow. You will learn by doing, move through a clear Moneyball career path, and be part of a company where most leaders have earned their stripes behind the bar (fun fact: over 75% of our employees started as Juicers!). If you love fast‑paced service, music, people, and the idea of turning a job into a lifestyle, JOE can become a place to build skills, friendships, and a career that can take you across cities, countries, and roles.

Your Mission

This is a hands‑on, senior individual contributor role at the heart of how Joe & the Juice plans, prioritises, and delivers change across the UK market, a market that is actively scaling and maturing its operational infrastructure. Based in London, the role sits within the UK, working closely with Technology, Supply Chain, People, Training, Finance, Construction, and Store Operations. Reporting to the UK Senior Leadership Team, this role owns the infrastructure that keeps the business moving, from how projects are initiated and evaluated through to how they land in stores and across functions. It combines strategic portfolio governance with hands‑on cross‑functional programme delivery, ensuring the right things happen in the right order, with every team informed, prepared, and aligned. With real scope to build a best‑in‑class project management function from the ground up, this is an opportunity for someone who thrives at pace and wants to leave a genuine mark on how a high‑energy brand scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the project intake and prioritisation framework for the UK market, including standardised intake forms with defined ROI cases, resource asks, and cross‑functional impact assessments.
  • Build and scale cross‑functional PM capability across the business, educating functional teams on PM principles, tools, and disciplines through coaching, toolkits, templates, and playbooks.
  • Design and manage a live project pipeline and portfolio governance suite — dashboards, intake trackers, and RAG reporting, that gives leadership a clear, real‑time view of everything in flight.
  • Lead operational readiness across all functions ahead of any new initiative, system change, or store opening, establishing clear lead times and cross‑departmental sign‑off processes.
  • Oversee and improve the UK meeting matrix, including agenda design, pre‑reads, and action log ownership, balancing global alignment with local operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with project governance standards, challenging proposals that lack sufficient commercial justification or operational readiness.
  • Partner with Copenhagen global teams to represent UK operational needs, flag where global initiatives require localisation, and push back where timelines underestimate UK complexity.
  • Drive clear communication and change initiatives across the UK and global organisations, acting as the connective tissue between the UK Leadership Team and global stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven project management experience in a fast‑paced, multi‑site retail or hospitality environment; experience in food & beverage (QSR, coffee, juice, or similar) is a strong advantage. Or internal Joe & The Juice project management experience.
  • Hands‑on experience designing and embedding project intake and governance processes, including ROI‑based business case evaluation and portfolio prioritisation.
  • A defining capability for turning complexity into clarity - able to make cross‑functional bandwidth, dependency risks, and trade‑offs visible to senior leadership and act on them.
  • Familiarity with working across global and local teams is a strong advantage; PRINCE2, PMP, APM, or equivalent is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and seniority levels.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills — able to manage multiple workstreams with precision; advanced proficiency in productivity and reporting tools required.
  • Fluent in English — other languages are a bonus!

Benefits

  • Paid pension plan, health insurance, parental leave, and additional vacation.
  • Our UK office is based in Oxford Circus, where daily we come together.
  • You will have access to a 95% discount off Joe & The Juice when working and 50% when you are not.
  • Friends with benefits – you can share a 20% discount with up to two friends and family.
  • At JOE, we embrace a flat hierarchy that values every opinion, creating a welcoming space for your ideas and suggestions to thrive.
  • Join us for our lively monthly social calendar filled with fun activities like running club, wine tasting, creative evenings, and Friday bars—there’s always something exciting happening!
  • As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to take on a BTC (Behind the Counter) shift in one of our bars twice a year, adding a unique touch to your experience.
