Position title: District Manager
Reports to: Operations Director
Responsibilities
- Performance Management: Accountable for building sales and optimizing store EBITDA across your district to achieve or exceed defined KPI targets.
- Value-Based Leadership: Effectively lead your team of Store Managers in alignment with company virtues and operational principles, acting as a "coach of coaches."
- Employee Engagement: Develop and engage your Store Managers through robust development plans, consistent feedback, and team meetings, securing an employee engagement score that meets or exceeds benchmarks.
- Recruitment Practices: Responsible for the candidate selection, pre-boarding, and onboarding of Store Managers, and for building the future store talent pipeline for your district.
- Operational Requirements: Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing hygiene, health, and safety standards; ensure conceptual store structures and 4-wall compliance, pest and fire safety control.
- Guest Experience: Ensure a "guest-first" approach is the standard across all stores, building strong guest relations and increasing overall guest loyalty. Monitor returning guests, app conversions, complaints, waiting time, product availability, and store audits.
- Store Performance: Manage sales targets, waste, salary cost, productivity, overhead cost, and 4-wall EBITDA.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar leadership role.
- Experience operating store(s) in a food & beverage chain is a requirement.
- Experience leading teams through Store Managers.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and performance management skills.
- A proven track record in optimizing overall store performance across multiple stores.
