JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a talented Senior Landscape Designer/Architect to join our team and lead the design and delivery of high‑end residential gardens, public realm projects, and horticultural institutions across the UK and internationally. As a Senior Landscape Designer, you will bring creativity and technical expertise to develop innovative designs that balance aesthetics and functionality. You will collaborate with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams, shaping our design approach and ensuring each project meets the highest standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Involvement & Design
- Lead landscape design projects from concept to completion, ensuring they align with client expectations, budgets, and site constraints while maintaining high design standards.
- Prepare reports, presentations, technical drawings, and specifications for planning and construction.
- Produce graphic content, presentations, and detailed design packages to effectively communicate ideas.
- Oversee project execution, liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with the studio’s commitment to design excellence.
- Conduct site visits, attend project meetings, and professionally represent the studio.
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and Health & Safety legislation.
- Lead project coordination, ensuring a seamless client experience.
Project Management
- Maintain project records and manage information in line with the studio’s system.
- Oversee the delivery of services within agreed budgets and timelines, coordinating with designers, contractors, and the Principal.
- Review and quality‑check design outputs to ensure they meet the studio’s high standards.
- Monitor resources effectively to keep projects on track and within budget, addressing concerns with the Project Manager.
- Continuously refine internal systems and processes to optimise design quality and efficiency.
Professional Development
- Participate in training and career development opportunities, mentoring and supporting colleagues’ growth.
- Foster a culture of innovation, exploring design trends and engaging in research‑driven solutions.
- Collaborate mentor team members, sharing knowledge and encouraging a creative work environment.
