An opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor/Licenced Conveyancer to work within Residential conveyancing.
The conveyancing department has a number of legal assistants to help with the progress of the files. You will be handling a mixture of Sale, Purchase, Re-mortgage, Transfer of Equity, Freehold, Leasehold and Un-registered conveyancing files, it is therefore essential you have dealt with a number of these matters.
Day-day duties will include:
- Working closely with a Director of the organisation, you will be running a caseload from inception to conclusion
- Ensure all conveyancing transactions comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Deal with all aspects of post-completion
- Providing a high-quality residential conveyancing service
- Pro-actively resolving problems and clients' needs
- Working well both independently and within a small team
Key Skills:
- Between 2 to 4 years' PQE as a Solicitor or Licenced Conveyancer
- Experience of dealing with sale and purchase of registered and unregistered property would be essential
- Ability to build good client and third-party relationships.
- Strong problem-solving conveyancing skills
- Experienced using a case management system.
