We are working with a small, well-established firm of Chartered Accountants based in Manchester City Centre, who are on the lookout for a Temporary Secretary to support their team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and professional environment where your administrative skills will make a real difference. The Temporary Secretary role is to cover staff absence, with the possibility of becoming longer term.
What will you be doing as a Temporary Secretary?
- Providing day-to-day admin support to the team
- Light audio typing (just short entries, not lengthy reports)
- Preparing and issuing fee invoices
- Submitting tax returns
- Filing and organising documents within the internal system
- Getting up to speed with internal systems and processes, then working flexibly around your schedule

- Previous experience as a Secretary
- Comfortable with typical office software and systems
- Organised, detail-focused, and self-sufficient
- Experience within an accountancy or professional services environment would be a real bonus, but it's not essential
