Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong electrical skills? This role is for a multi-skilled engineer working for a globally recognised brand, offering excellent career prospects and a competitive package.
What will you be doing as an Electrical Engineer:
- Deliver hands-on engineering support to keep production running smoothly
- Perform both reactive and planned maintenance on plant and equipment
- Keep maintenance records up to date using the CMMS system
- Work closely with production to meet daily performance goals
- Follow safety and repair best practices at all times
- Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives
The role involves a continental shift pattern, 3 on, 2 off, averaging 42.9 hours per week with 12.25-hour shifts. Shifts rotate between days (05:45–18:00) and nights (17:45–06:00) and include weekends and bank holidays.
We would like to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
- Experience in a similar engineering role with a strong electrical bias in manufacturing
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering apprenticeship with hands-on experience
- Recognised electrical academic qualification
- Electrical testing and inspecting - City & Guilds 2391 (advantage)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) desirable
- Strong electro-mechanical knowledge
- Working knowledge of PLC systems – Allen Bradley and/or Siemens is an advantage
- Familiarity with CMMS and SCADA systems
- LOTO processes comfortable
- Solid understanding of equipment and technical standards
- A sense of ownership for safety, quality and performance
- Problem-solving and good communication skills
- Due to site location, you will need your own transport
