Are you a confident, outgoing person who LOVES meeting people and delivering a first-class customer experience? We have a fantastic opportunity for a friendly, energetic and professional Receptionist / Host to join a prestigious luxury car dealership based in Bolton.
This is not your typical Receptionist role! Working within a large, modern dealership, you'll be right at the heart of the customer experience, welcoming visitors, guiding them around the showroom and service department, and making sure everyone receives a warm and professional welcome. This is a busy, hands-on role where you'll be on your feet throughout the day, moving around the dealership and interacting with customers.
We're ideally looking for someone who can work full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8am to 6pm, although there may be an option to split the hours between two part-time people. The role is available for an immediate start and will run until 27th November.
What will you be doing as a Receptionist / Host?
- Meeting and greeting customers and visitors as they arrive at the showroom, ensuring they receive a warm and professional welcome.
- Acting as a host around the dealership, helping customers find their way around and directing them to the correct departments and colleagues.
- Spending time within the busy service department, helping customers with the vehicle check-in process and assisting them with the automated key-drop machines where required.
- Looking after the customer hospitality areas, ensuring they are clean, tidy and welcoming at all times.
- Keeping refreshments fully stocked, including coffee, cakes, biscuits and chilled drinks.
- Checking customer areas regularly to ensure they are clean, presentable and ready for visitors.
- Loading and unloading the dishwasher and keeping hospitality areas organised.
- Occasionally answering customer telephone calls, dealing with general queries or passing on updates.
- Liaising with internal colleagues, taking messages and sending emails to ensure information gets to the right people.
What's in it for you?
- £12.71 per hour.
- Monday to Friday working.
- Ideally full-time hours of 8am-6pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
- Potential for the hours to be split between two part-time people, with shifts of 8am-1pm and 1pm-6pm.
- Immediate start available.
- Temporary assignment until 27th November.
- Free on-site parking.
- The opportunity to work within a prestigious luxury car dealership and gain valuable experience in a premium customer-facing environment.
Why would you join this company?
You'll be joining a large, modern luxury car dealership where customer experience is at the heart of everything they do. This is a great opportunity to work in a professional, smart environment, meeting a wide variety of customers and playing an important part in making sure every visitor receives a positive experience from the moment they arrive.
What we're looking for
- Previous customer-facing experience, ideally within Reception, Front of House, Hospitality or Customer Service.
- Confident telephone manner and experience answering calls and dealing with customer enquiries.
- A friendly, outgoing and approachable personality.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to interact with customers face-to-face.
- Smart, professional and well-presented at all times.
- Someone who is energetic and happy to be on their feet throughout the day, moving around a large dealership.
- Organised, attentive and able to keep customer areas clean, tidy and presentable.
- Reliable, punctual and able to commit to the required working days.
Dress code: As this is a luxury dealership, a smart corporate appearance is essential. Candidates must be comfortable wearing smart office attire, ideally a navy or black suit, smart trousers or skirt with a white top or blouse. A smart jacket must be worn. There is no uniform provided.
Previous experience within a car dealership would be advantageous but is not essential. We're particularly interested in people who enjoy hospitality, meeting customers and making sure everyone receives a first-class welcome.
