What will you be doing as an Electrical Engineer:
- Deliver hands-on engineering support to keep production running smoothly
- Perform both reactive and planned maintenance on plant and equipment
- Keep maintenance records up to date using our CMMS system
- Work closely with production to meet daily performance goals
- Follow safety and repair best practices at all times
- Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives
The role will involve working a continental shift pattern, 3 on, 2 off with a 42.9 hour week on average with 12.25-hour shifts: This will rotate between days (05:00-18:00) and nights (17:45-6:00) and includes nights, weekends and bank holidays.
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
- Experience in a similar Engineering role with a strong electrical bias with a large company background, ideally in manufacturing
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering apprenticeship with hands-on experience is essential
- Recognised electrical academic qualification
- Electrical Testing & Inspecting - City & Guilds 2391 holder would be an advantage
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) qualification is desirable
- Strong electro-mechanical knowledge
- Working knowledge of PLC systems - Allen Bradley and/or Siemens an advantage
- Familiarity with CMMS and SCADA systems
- Comfortable with LOTO processes
- Solid understanding of equipment and technical standards
- A sense of ownership for safety, quality, and performance
- Problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Due to the location of the site, you will need your own transport
