A well-established not-for-profit organisation is looking for a Learning & Development Advisor to join its supportive L&D team. The Learning & Development Advisor will provide advice, guidance and practical support to staff and managers, helping to ensure training, onboarding and compliance requirements are met across the organisation.
What will you be doing as a Learning & Development Advisor?
Supporting the onboarding of new starters, including ensuring appropriate training is assigned and access to L&D systems is in place
Providing advice, guidance and practical support to staff and managers on learning, development and training requirements
Maintaining accurate training records and databases, ensuring information is up to date and compliant with organisational requirements
Monitoring statutory and mandatory training, including e-learning completion and refresher requirements, and following up outstanding training
Producing training reports, matrices and management information, using Excel and database systems to analyse and interpret data
Supporting managers to identify training gaps, address compliance issues and ensure staff have access to the learning they require
Supporting the planning, scheduling and booking of training across services, including assisting with training workshops and learning activities
Completing quality audits of training records and preparing accurate training information and evidence for inspections and compliance purposes
Supporting the identification of staff learning and development needs and appropriate training opportunities
Working closely with HR colleagues and internal and external stakeholders to coordinate effective xgikmsk L&D activity
Supporting staff with e-learning platforms, L&D systems and IT-based learning, providing clear and user-friendly guidance
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
Previous experience in Learning & Development, training, HR, administration or a similar role
Experience providing advice, guidance or practical support to staff and/or managers
Excellent communication skills and a professional, approachable and flexible manner
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
