Senior Engineering Surveyor – Civils – Freelance Your new company Operating both in the UK and across the world, they are a leading contractor delivering projects across multiple sectors including; real estate, defence, education, highways, rail and water.Your new role Working on the major highways improvement scheme in the Norfolk region, they require a Senior Engineering Surveyor to support the Chief Engineering surveyor and or the Engineering survey manager in co-ordination across all technical work streams, during each stage of a project from PQQ through to construction. Technical work streams may include but are not limited to; all engineering disciplines, design management, digital engineering, sustainability, engineering surveying, asset management and industrialisation.Other duties to include:Develop their engineering survey teams to meet project needs.Ensure that the project has the appropriate survey control network to fulfil the construction requirements.Setting out the works in accordance with the contract requirements before work is programmed to commenceShare expert advice and guidance to the members of the engineering survey teams and other parts of the business related to engineering surveying and geospatial best practice.Provide a topographical survey in preparation for engineering works on site, setting out for the works, reports and measures and final survey information.Review with the engineering team that sufficient information is available and in the correct format to set out the works in accordance with the programme and to resolve any inconsistencies in the information provided including feedback on any changes made.Ensure quality is adhered to in relation to setting out and inspection and test plansWhat you\’ll need to succeed Experience in either land surveying or engineering on civil projectsExperience working on bridges and structuresWhat you need to do nowIf you\’re interested in this role, click \’apply now\’ to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
