Role - Salesforce CPQ Technical Lead
Customer Industry - Global Financial Market Data provider. This role will help with new opportunities in the CPQ area. CPQ Migration is one of the top priorities and high visible strategic program for in 2025. Quote to Cash (CPQ) migration is to migrate customer from legacy Siebel to Salesforce CPQ Platform.
Key responsibilities:
- Should involve in Salesforce CPQ solution design and development.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to determine and prioritize business requirements, transforming business requirements into technical requirements, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful cost-effective project execution.
- Create, run and present a measurable BRD/FSD (Blueprint) that aligns a customer’s technical business needs to that of the Salesforce Solutions.
- Drives technical (HL and LL) design and development for major components of focused solutions.
- Offers best practice advice and recommendations to clients, often extending beyond Salesforce to topics around overall systems architecture and CRM strategy.
- Collaborate with Functional team to determine how best to implement solutions (decisions around declarative vs programmatic vs AppExchange, etc.).
- Overall knowledge of solution components (transformation platform, integration platform etc.) that are outside of the Salesforce platform.
- Hands-on knowledge of Platform Security, PII data security, Authentication & Authorization.
- Integration (REST, SOAP, Salesforce Connect etc.), Data Migration and Deployment Strategy.
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
- Min 8 years to max 12 years’ experience in technology (product and engineering) and a minimum of 4+ years in Salesforce CPQ Development exposure.
- Minimum of 4+ Years of experience in Sales cloud.
- In depth Salesforce CPQ Experience. In addition, CPQ knowledge must have functional and technical knowledge (Like Product configurations, Bundles, Quoting process, Pricing, Discounting and Workflows).
- Candidate should be able to lead the team and support application design.
- Proven experience taking highly conceptual business need and translate into a solution that can be effectively implemented.
- Demonstrated ability to design and develop complex solutions using Salesforce CPQ capabilities.
- Must have Salesforce Platform Developer 2.
- CPQ Functional associate certifications.
