Leading International Contractor, Marine Division, Competitive Salary Your new companyA leading international contractor specialising in new build, refurbishment, fit-out services, commercial and private sector, now require a Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial Division. With an established reputation for the consistent high quality of its finished products and services, they have become the preferred supplier in some of the most globally competitive markets. Due to continual growth in the market, they now require a Quantity Surveyor to join the business.Your new roleReporting to the Commercial Director, you will ensure the effective management of costs on live marine contracts. As well as this, you will work collaboratively with other key partners and divisions within the company. You will also play a key role in assessing the commercial viability of future projects. All projects are internationally based and will require travel to the site 3-4 times per year.What you\’ll need to succeedYou will be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or the equivalent with a minimum of 3 years\’ experience. You will be commercially astute and will be able to independently deal with complex projects. You will be well versed in preparing cost plans for projects.
