About the role Newcastle United is looking for a passionate and experienced coach to join our Academy team, working directly with our Youth Development Phase (YDP) players in the full-time training model. You’ll be supporting their individual development journeys, collaborating with age group lead coaches, and helping shape the future of our young talent — all in line with the club’s coaching methodology. In this role, you’ll be hands-on with player development plans, video analysis, and performance tracking. You’ll play a key part in delivering feedback, supporting player-parent reviews, and ensuring our programme runs smoothly and effectively. Working closely with the Head of Football Development and our interdisciplinary team, you’ll help create a best-practice environment that nurtures growth and excellence. Your impact We’re looking for someone with significant pitch-based coaching experience, a UEFA A Licence, and a deep understanding of youth development in the professional game. Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to safeguarding and equality are essential.
