Cover Supervisor Location: Meadowcroft School, Wakefield, WF1 4AD
Hours: 42.5 per week | Monday–Friday | 8:30am – 4:30pm
Salary: Up to ÂŁ25,480 per annum depending on experience (not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining high-quality learning when teachers are absent. This is more than classroom supervision — it’s an opportunity to inspire progress, build confidence, and support meaningful educational outcomes.
- Deliver engaging lessons in line with Teacher Standards, ensuring learning continues effectively in the absence of teaching staff
- Support high-quality teaching and learning by helping meet the diverse needs of all students, including the most able
- Help foster a safe, inclusive and respectful environment that encourages excellent behaviour and personal development
- Support the school’s ethos, values and curriculum while contributing to ongoing school improvement
