About the Role

We're looking for genuinely caring, resilient and dedicated Waking Night Support Workers to join our friendly residential service in Willesden.

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing and comfort of the people we support throughout the night. You'll help promote independence, provide emotional reassurance and ensure individuals receive person-centred support tailored to their needs.

No two nights are ever the same. You may be supporting individuals with their night-time routines, carrying out welfare checks, providing personal care, updating support records, responding to any support needs that arise overnight and helping people maintain a safe and comfortable environment.

You'll be supporting adults with a range of needs, including:

  • Autism
  • Mental health conditions
  • Learning disabilities
  • Behaviours of distress
  • Forensic backgrounds
  • Individuals who have experienced trauma
  • Complex support needs

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping people build confidence, achieve greater independence and live fulfilling lives.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in people who share our values and genuinely care about making a difference.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Experience working in care, support work or a similar environment
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs
  • Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches
  • Experience following support plans and risk assessments
  • A calm, patient and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A full UK driving licence (preferred)

Most importantly, you'll be compassionate, respectful and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.

Why Choose Voyage Care?

You don't need extensive experience to become a fantastic Support Worker. What matters most is your passion for supporting others, willingness to learn and positive attitude.

We celebrate individuality and encourage everyone to Be You. Through our excellent training programme, you'll receive the knowledge, skills and support needed to build a successful and rewarding career in care.

From comprehensive induction training to ongoing development opportunities and promotion pathways, we'll support you every step of the way.

Whether you're experienced in care or looking to start a new career where you can make a genuine difference, Voyage Care offers a supportive environment where you can Grow Together with us.

All successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory DBS checks and references.

Some roles may require male or female employees only where this is a genuine occupational requirement, in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
