About the Team

We are looking to recruit a dedicated, experienced Senior Support Worker to join our fabulous team at Combe Lea. Combe Lea is a purpose built 30 bedded residential care home. We support older adults living with varying degrees of frailty and a diagnosis of Dementia in a homely environment. Combe Lea is situated in Midsomer Norton, Somerset and is based over 3 floors.

About the Role

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be working in a supervisory position supporting the Registered Manager with maintaining exceptional high levels of care and support to the residents.

You will be responsible for managing shifts over a 4-week rolling rota which includes alternative weekends and Bank Holidays. This is a permanent role of 33 hours per weekdays and nights 12 hour shifts with one hour break.

Your duties will include dealing with the day-to-day management of Combe Lea, supervision of staff, rota cover, undertaking audits and staff development.

About You

You will be required to have a good knowledge and understanding of CQC regulations, following policy and procedure in a proactive manner.

You will be a dedicated and experienced Senior Support Worker who is able to support the Registered Manager with maintaining exceptional high levels of care and support to the residents, whilst contributing to the day-to-day management of the home, supervision of staff, rota cover, undertaking audits and staff development.
