Business Systems Support Officer
Starting salary between £ 28329 and £33510 per annum
Based at Kings Court Council Offices, Kings Lynn
If you are enthusiastic about technology and enjoy helping people find practical solutions, we may have the opportunity for you… We are looking for a Business Systems Support Officer to help administer, support and develop the digital systems used across our Planning, Environmental Health and Regulatory Services.
In this varied role, you will provide first and second-line support to system users, investigate routine incidents and service requests, and assist with user accounts, permissions, testing, upgrades and guidance. You will also support data quality, reporting and business intelligence, GIS and mapping activities, and digital improvement projects, including opportunities to use automation and emerging technologies.
You will have at least two years’ experience of working in a busy office environment, together with experience of providing customer or user support, using business systems and databases, and working with data and information. Good IT, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users and learn new systems quickly. Experience of Idox products, ArcGIS/ESRI or Power BI would be an advantage.
This is an opportunity to develop your technical knowledge while helping to improve services and the customer experience through effective use of technology. If you are customer-focused, methodical and adaptable, with an interest in digital innovation and continuous improvement, we would love to hear from you.
