Sir Geoffrey Leigh Academy is seeking to recruit Invigilators to join our lovely, highly supportive existing team. Our invigilators are key to creating the calm conditions in which our students can perform their best, assisting with the administration of both internal and public examinations.
Requirements & Skills:
- Interpersonal & Teamwork Skills: Strong teamwork abilities are a must, along with excellent oral communication skills and a friendly, collaborative approach.
- Key Attributes: A calm demeanour, a good eye for detail, reliability, punctuality, and flexibility.
- Student Focus: A genuine interest in helping students of all ages achieve their potential by maintaining a calm, orderly atmosphere in examinations and strictly complying with regulations at all times.
What We Offer:
- Extensive training will be provided to ensure you feel confident and prepared.
- Variable hours agreed in advance (£13 per hour).
- Positions run across the school year, including November, December, January, April, May, and June, as exams take place throughout the year, not just in the summer!
This is a very important role where you will be a highly valued member of our examinations team. Interviews may be conducted on a rolling basis, and successful candidates will join us as soon as possible on an ad-hoc basis.
