Location: London, Hybrid (3 days on site per week)Length: 6 Months PAYE onlyOverall purpose of the roleWe are seeking a highly organised and proactive Team Assistant to support a dynamic group of high-performing Analysts within our investment research division. This is a fast-paced, logistics-heavy role ideal for someone who thrives on handling complex travel arrangements, managing priorities, and acting as a critical support hub for the team.Key Accountabilities:Arrange extensive, multi-leg international travel often involving complex itineraries, cost comparisons, and changing requirements.Handle visa applications, transportation, accommodation bookings, and travel expense reconciliation.Provide general team assistance across five teams, ensuring smooth coordination and logistics for their frequent travel schedulesMaintain CRM systems and distribution databases; add and update client records accurately.Act as first point of contact for IT-related queries, escalating as necessary to ensure swift resolutions.Handle ad hoc admin duties, prioritising tasks across multiple teams with varying needs.Key Skills:Proven experience in complex travel coordination, ideally across multiple regions and time zones.Strong organisational skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment with frequent last-minute changes.Tech-savvy with CRM systems and travel tools; Concur is a major plus, but not essential.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to set clear boundaries and resolve conflict tactfully.Detail-oriented, structured, and exceptionally thorough.About BarclaysBarclays is a British universal bank.
