Are you an experienced Groundworks Foreman/Supervisor with machine tickets? Do you have the skills and leadership to step in when senior team members are off? If so, we want to hear from you!

Must have recent experience working with new homes developers.

The Role:

We are looking for a Groundworks Foreman/Supervisor to oversee and coordinate groundwork projects across Cheshire and the Wirral. You’ll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high safety and quality standards. Ideally, you’ll have SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification or be willing to obtain it.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Supervising groundworks teams on-site, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
  • Operating and overseeing plant machinery when required
  • Reading and interpreting site plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Managing materials, deliveries, and subcontractors
  • Ensuring all health and safety regulations and company policies are adhered to
  • Conducting site inspections and toolbox talks
  • Reporting progress and any issues to site/project managers
  • Liaising with clients, engineers, and senior site staff
  • Assisting with problem-solving and decision-making on-site
