We have a current opportunity for a Geophysicist on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Eynsham, Oxfordshire.
Our client is a UK leader in engineering and environmental geophysics with a reputation for objective advice, high quality surveys, novel problem solving and easy to understand reporting.
The Role
The Geophysicist's role requires active involvement at every stage of a project from initial planning, site works through to reporting. At each stage, the emphasis is on quality and customer service. Working as part of a team, the Geophysicist will be required to communicate effectively and professionally with customers, the public and colleagues.
Key Experience / skills needed
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Relevant Degree (Physics etc)
- Good knowledge of specialist geophysical software and drawing packages (e.g. AutoCAD 2015, Oasis Montaj, RES2DINV, Radan, IDS-GRED) would be desirable
- Good Communication skills
- Good level of fitness (A lot of walking and lifting is required when on site)
