Home Instead South Lanarkshire operate in the Lanark providing bespoke home care services to members of the local community. Home Instead South Lanarkshire covers Forth, Lanark, Kirkfieldbank, Carluke, Braidwood, Blackwood, Carnwath, Biggar, Symington and surrounding areas.

We have a Care Inspectorate rating of Very Good (5) and pride ourselves on delivering high quality home care through well trained and motivated staff. We only do visits of a minimum of 1 hour and try to send the same care professional to the same clients at every visit so as there is continuity and real relationships formed.

Care Assistant Benefits:
  • Excellent pay rates - Β£13.25 per hour
  • Hours Available: This will be guaranteed hours contract ranging between 16 - 25 hours per week dependant on availability.
  • Ideal candidate will have availability to work between 8am - 10pm and every second weekend.
  • Minimum 1 hour call – so you have the time needed with client.
  • Employee Referral bonus - Β£250 refer a friend bonus.
  • Mileage - 30p per mile. Paid Weekly or Monthly.

Carer responsibilities:

Being a Health Care Assistant is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care.

Duties can include:

  • Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit.
  • Help with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework.
  • Accompanying to appointments or shopping.
  • Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming to keep them healthy and independent.
