We have a number of openings for working for our prestigious client in Castleford as a Warehouse Coordinator. Are you looking for a job that offers long term development? As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that you support the FLM / Shift Manager to achieve an efficient and effective operation meeting goals and objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, co-ordinating, supervising and reporting upon the work activities of a team.
- Providing effective communication, leadership, motivation, training & development.
- Managing the fulfilment of customer orders ensuring that all department targets and customer promise are always met.
- Directing daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for team members.
- Facilitating effective communication and relationships both inter-shift and with other departmental functions.
- Assisting FLMs in managing all disciplinary and grievance issues in line with HR policy.
- Ensuring effective control of MHE usage to ensure minimal damage.
- Ensuring compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in ecommerce.
- Supporting FLMs in delivering improved productivity levels using coaching and mentoring skills.
- Managing and adjusting staffing levels to meet operational requirements.
- Delivering team member performance reviews, development and/or succession planning as appropriate.
Key skills and experience in this role will include:
- 3+ years experience of warehousing / Logistics.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal leadership, motivation and planning skills.
- Excellent communicator (verbal / written).
- High School / secondary education - Essential.
- University degree or equivalent - Desirable.
- Previous managerial experience - Essential.
Working Hours and Shift Patterns:
- Monday to Friday, Rotational Shift (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00), working a total of 40 hours every week.
Pay Rates:
- £12.27 Days & Afters, £15.34 overtime hours.
- Paid Weekly.
