The PositionWe are currently recruiting for an experienced and highly organised Team Leader to support the successful operational delivery for one of our key customers. Working closely with the customer, operational teams and internal stakeholders, you will help ensure that day-to-day activities run smoothly, service levels are consistently achieved and any issues are resolved quickly.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and building positive customer relationships.
Shift pattern - Predominantly a 7am - 3pm shift but may be adjusted to 9am - 5pm for cover. Monday - Friday. There is also Nightshift cover available - including a 20% uplift on salary.
Salary: £26,780.00Location: SA4 8QDThe ResponsibilitiesFirst point of contact for worker queries/ issuesCoaching and mentoring workforceDriving engagement on the shopfloorIdentifying and delivering retraining where neededEnsuring H&S standards are adhered to at all timesAccident InvestigationCompleting Return to Work interviewsAttending and delivering daily shift briefsResponsible for absence and performance managementProcessing holiday/ leavers formsConducting exit interviewsFocus on shop floor presence to drive productivityResponsible for management of new startersMust be confident in challenging conduct issues and issuing coaching formsResponsible for 1st stage investigations and disciplinariesManaging worker bookings daily in line with the client's requirements and adhering to parameters that are setEnsuring worker hours are recorded and inputted into the internal payroll system accuratelyManaging absence, attendance and performance. Dealing with colleague's queriesGood planning and organisation skillsEnsuring compliance in all areasAmbition and determination to succeedA successful candidate will -Be available and approachable - a people person.
Proficient in administrator tasksBe able to speak to individuals at all levels and positions.
Strong communication skills both written & verbal.
