At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for MHE Driver / TLT Operator to work with Unipart JCB, a leading company known for its expertise in logistics and supply chain management. Unipart JCB provides comprehensive services, including warehousing, distribution, and transportation solutions.
Shift Patterns:
- Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 17:00 and Friday 8:00 - 13:00
- Monday to Thursday 7:00 - 16:00 and Friday 7:00 - 12:00
Pay Rates:
- Standard: £13.67 per hour
- Overtime: £20.50 per hour (paid after 39 standard hours)
Requirements of a MHE Driver:
- Previous experience operating TLT equipment (Counterbalance/Forklift/Teletruck)
- Valid forklift or TLT certificate/license
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication using radio
This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities of a MHE Driver:
- Safely unload incoming materials and products
- Organise deliveries into goods in
- Decant pallets into single parts ready for marshalling
- Check GRNs against physical stock received
- Raise any discrepancies or defects to the customer to protect stock integrity and ensure accurate production information
- Operate TLT and other handling equipment in line with health & safety protocols
- Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors
- Adhere to site procedures and guidelines
