Requirements:

  • Interest in working with electrical or mechanical equipment
  • Willingness to learn how to use tablets and diagnostic tools
  • Ability to follow technical instructions carefully
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
  • Basic understanding of workplace health & safety
  • Able to work independently once trained, as well as part of a team
  • Comfortable with manual handling tasks
  • Basic PC literacy

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with functional testing, cleaning, and basic repairs of gaming equipment under supervision
  • Learn how to configure terminals to customer specifications using provided tools and tablets
  • Support the installation of software, firmware, and technical updates
  • Help ensure equipment is PAT tested and meets health and safety requirements (training provided)
  • Record machine movements accurately within the stock control system
  • Take part in regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory records
  • Support the preparation of machines for disposal or scrappage
  • Assist with large deliveries when required, including moving or offloading stock
  • Keep the workshop clean, organised, and free from hazards
  • Report any faults, hazards, or stock issues to the Workshop Supervisor
  • Follow all stock and workshop processes as trained
