We are recruiting for Forklift Driver to work with a leading company in the Logistics sector in Dunstable.

Shift Patterns: Any 5 out of 7

Pay Rates: £15.87 hourly

As a Forklift Driver you will need to have:

  • Minimum 6-12 months forklift driving experience
  • Loading and unloading goods, pallet handling and stacking
  • Working in busy warehouse environments, safe load handling, and pedestrian safety
  • Hazards identification, performing pre-use checks, and operating machinery for extended periods
  • Handling manual tasks when required and experience in reach forklifts
  • Good level of English

It would be desirable to have:

  • Additional forklift licences
  • Trained in manual handling, working at height, and background experience in the Retail industry
  • Ability to meet or exceed KPIs, work well under pressure, and willingness to support picking and other departments

Role of a Forklift Driver:

  • Efficiently operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and maintenance on forklift equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including pedestrian safety and hazard identification, to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Support other warehouse operations as needed, including picking and packing.
